Table Number Cards

This is a really quick and easy way to personalize table numbers for your wedding.

We had a 'robot' theme, so we went with pictures of different 'love' robots for each table!

You can easily take whatever you theme is and find images that match. It was fun searching Google to find "robot couples" to fit ours - so have fun finding something that matches your theme!

Materials Needed

- Pictures of your Theme (the couple, flowers, robots, etc.)
- 3 Different Card Stock Colors (I chose ivory, gray and red)
- Double-Sided Tape
- Paper Cutter (guillotine, rotary cutter, or crop cutter)
- Computer with Microsoft Publisher or your favorite page-layout software
- Stands to Hold Table Number Signs (we used place card holders, you could even use DIY holders found elsewhere on this site/the internet!)

Find Your Images and Design Your Cards

Estimate how many tables you will be having at your wedding, and search Google images to find different photos to make each table number card different.

For instance, we had 21 tables, so I would need to find 21 photos.

If you are doing a 'you and me' theme, pick out the photos of you two that look the best to be presented to your guests. Engagement photos would work well!

To download my Microsoft Publisher template, go here.

You can easily drag your own images into the template, as well as change the font of the table numbers.

I made my table numbers double-sided, so that it could be seen no matter where people came into the reception at.

Print and Cut

Print them out and cut to 4" x 6" with your paper cutter.

To make the layered backing, cut 2 pieces of red card stock for each table number card to 4.5" x 6.5", and 1 piece of gray card stock to 5" x 7".

It's best to cut all of the paper at once, so you can adhere them all together at once.

Adhere the Card Together

Take your main table number pieces and tape an X to the back of them. Position them in the center of the red pieces. Once you have each main piece taped to the red piece, tape X's on the back of each red piece, and adhere the pieces to each side of the main gray piece.

The reason why you make X's with tape is to give depth to the table number cards, and to make it look more DIY!

Stick Them in Their Holders and Set on Table

Stick them into the place card or table number holders, and set them on the tables.

I mention place card holders because they are usually cheaper, and you have a larger variety of options.

Good luck!
