Tailbone Seat Cushion for Mayaan
This project was designed for Maayan, who suffers from extreme sensitivity due to a tailbone injury that makes sitting painful. We created an open-source, custom ergonomic cushion—combining a 3D-printed core with a tailored fabric cover—to relieve pressure on the affected area and bridge the gap between hard seating surfaces and daily comfort

3D Parts
The 3D-printed assembly is composed of three separate parts—left, right, and center—requiring a 3D printer with at least a 25 cm * 25 cm* 25 cm print bed.
Sawing and Assembly
The document presents the outer cover fabrication in the simplest way possible. That said, someone familiar with sewing will find the process much easier to navigate, making it a great idea to collaborate with an experienced friend or maker
