Tangled Lantern Lamp

One of the most magical scenes in Disney’s Tangled is when Rapunzel and Flynn Rider watch the floating lanterns light up the night sky. That glowing moment of hope and dreams inspired me to create my own Lantern Lamp with the iconic sun symbol from the kingdom of Corona. This handmade piece captures the warmth and beauty of the film’s unforgettable lantern festival.

2. Nepalese handmade lokta paper
3. Pencil & eraser
4. Markers
5. Adhesive tape or glue
6. Bulb holder
7. Electric bulb (warm)

In the kingdom of Corona, every year thousands of lanterns filled the night sky—a glowing symbol of hope for the lost princess. Rapunzel, hidden away in a tower, spent her whole life staring at those floating lights, not knowing they were meant for her.

With nothing but her courage and an unshakable dream, she dared to step outside her comfort zone. Guided by her curiosity and kindness, she found friendship, love, and most importantly, her true self. The lanterns were not just lights in the sky—they were a reminder that no dream is too far away if you have the courage to chase it.

Rapunzel’s story teaches us that even in the darkest of towers, the light of our dreams can guide us. And when we finally follow that light, we discover who we were always meant to be.

1. Take a transparent cylindrical plastic container.
2. Remove any labels or stickers.
3. Wash and dry it completely to ensure it’s clean.

1. Take a sheet of handmade paper.
2. Draw a sun with bright rays in the center.
3. Add swirls, dots, or other decorative patterns around the edges.
4. Use golden or yellow shades for a vibrant look.

1. Place the decorated paper around the plastic container.
2. Align the design neatly in the center.
3. Secure the paper using tape so it doesn’t shift.

1. Fit a bulb holder inside the bottom of the container.
2. Make sure it is fixed securely and connected to wires safely.
