The Enchanted Rose Dome – Inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

The Enchanted Rose has always been a timeless symbol of love, hope, and magic from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. For this fandom-inspired creation, I wanted to bring that magical rose to life as a beautiful DIY décor piece. Using simple craft materials, I recreated the glowing red rose inside a glass dome—just like in the movie—so that it feels as though the magic could last forever.

When I created my own Enchanted Rose Dome, I wanted to capture that same magic—the delicate crepe paper petals glowing softly under the glass dome, lit with gentle cork lights, remind us that true beauty shines from within. Just like the Beast’s journey, the rose is a symbol that love can bloom even in the most unexpected places, and that kindness has the power to change everything.

This rose dome is not just a craft—it’s a little piece of enchantment, a reminder to believe in magic, to treasure love, and to always look beyond appearances.

1. Start by creating a beautiful rose using red crepe paper.
2. Take a roughly 15 inch X 3 inch paper and start twisting inside from the top at 1 inch apart.
3. Roll the crepe paper and form the rose. Tie it at the bottom to secure.

1. First, cut a neat circular piece of sturdy sunboard — this will form the flat base.
2. Next, cut a long strip of sunboard and carefully bend it to form a perfect ring. This will create the vertical side wall of the base.
3. Attach the strip’s edges securely to the circumference of the circular piece using glue, making sure the shape stays round and even.
4. Spray paint the entire surface black to give it a sleek, elegant finish.
5. Create two small holes on the base – one to insert the rose stem securely and the other to pass the LED string light connection.

1. Carefully insert the stem of the handmade paper rose into the first hole on the base.
2. Push it in until it stands upright and stable, making sure it does not wobble.
