Start with a Slip Knot.

Chain 3.

2 Double Crochets into the 3rd Chain from the hook.

Chain 2 Picot(i.e. Chain 2 and make a Slip stitch into the Bottom stitch(*insert your hook into both the loops to get a neat finish)).

2 Double Crochets into the same stitch(i.e the 3rd Chain from the hook)

Chain 2.

Slip Stitch into the same Stitch.

This makes one Leaf.
