But what to make?
So I decided on these three appetisers to present on one large platter.

All tasty morsels, with the bonus of being simple and quick to make and bake.

Caramel Bacon Mini Sausages
Caramel Bacon Mini Sausages
You will need:
12 Small size breakfast sausages
6 Streaky Bacon Rashers
3 heaped tablespoons of Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Paprika
Toothpicks for serving
To Make:
Pierce the sausages with a knife.
Cut the streaky bacon rashers in half and wind a piece of bacon around each sausage.
Use extra bacon rashers if needed.
Place them in a baking parchment paper lined baking pan.
Sprinkle brown sugar over the tops.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Cook for 20 minutes in a 180 Celcius (356 F) preheated oven.
Remove from the oven.
Turn each sausage over and place under a grill to brown.
Cool.
Cut each sausage in half.
Place a toothpick into each cut piece.
Goat Cheese Tulips
You will need:
Feta cheese
Mini oval Tomatoes and baby Gherkin pickles.
(One tomato and one gherkin make one tulip).
Toothpicks
To Make:
Cut small cubes of feta cheese.
Cut each tomato in a cross.
Cut the mini Gerkin in half lengthwise but not to the base.
Push a toothpick up through the base of the gherkin leaving a small piece of toothpick out for handling.
Then slide the tomato from the base, onto the toothpick, holding the gherkin at the base of its cut so the gherkin splays like leaves.
Pop a piece of feta inside the tomato.
Cranberry Cheese Mini Crackers.
You will need:
Mini-size round crackers
Blueberry or blackcurrant Chutney
Harvatti or Gouda cheese
Cranberry Jelly
Chives
To Make:
Arrange the crackers on a board.
Spread each with a little chutney.
Place a cut square of cheese on top.
On top of the cheese spoon a dollop of cranberry jelly.
Decorate the tops of each cracker with chives.
