Tic Tac Toe Board

Portable Tic Tac Toe Board made out of a 2 x 4

Supplies

2 x 4 Pine board

Wood stain

Clear coat

#10 screw

Washer

Wood for the door

Miter Saw

Screw driver

Table saw

Drill press

Drill bits (based on Drawing file)

Router

Cut the 2 X 4

Measure the width of the 2 x 4 then use a pencil to mark the length of the board (make it the same as the width). Once you have your board measured out cut it with the miter saw.

Cut Grooves

Measure out 1/3 of the board and mark it for all sides of the board. Once you have your squares marked out cut Grooves with the table saw

Drill Holes for Marbles

Measure out the centers of your squares and cut out holes using the dimensions given in the drawing file.

Drill Holes for Marble Storage

Drill holes to about 3 inches deep, make sure your marbles fit. Next drill pilot holes for your #10 screw using the dimensions given in the drawing.

Create a Door

Cut out a door then route it and shape it to your desired shape.

Stain and Clear Coat

Apply Stain and clear coat to your board to finish it off, make sure to follow the directions for your specific stain and clear coat

Screw on Door

Use the #10 screw and washer to put on the door then tighten just enough that the door is tight but can still spin.
