Toy Dump Truck With a Moveable Flatbed

A toy truck that is programed by a CPX and uses two servo motors to make the flatbed of the truck move up and down.
Supplies




- 3D Printer
- 6 Alligator Clips to Male Wires
- 2 servo motors
- Hot glue
- Adafruit Circuit Playground Express Basekit
Print Out 3D Parts




The base and cab need to be printed on the replicator plus printer with supports.
While the wheels need to be printer individually without supports on a makerbot sketch printer. (repeat till you have 4 wheels)
The flatbed also needs to be printed on the replicator plus printer with supports.

Code and Assemble

Transfer python code to your CPX
Attach alligator clips to the main points of connection which are A1 and A2
One servo motor with alligator clips needs to be connected at A1, volt, and GND
The second servo motor with alligator clips needs to be connected at A2, 3.3V, and GND

Attach Servo Motors 3D Printed Parts


Attach servo motors with hot glue to the base of the truck
Then using hot glue attach the flatbed
Then place the Cab on the front part of the truck
Attach battery pack to the side of the flatbed
Final Steps

Place CPX in the front part of the truck and press button A for the flatbed to go up and button B for the flatbed to go back down.
