Smart Shower Timer
I made a water filtration system that will help make the world a better place in places with no or very limited access to clean water. I used ideas from the different ways that camels, mangrove roots, and oysters filter water to make my design, and I really feel that it will make in impact on communities that are less fortunate.
Supplies
Research
The first step to creating this design was researching different ways that organisms filter water. It had to be sustainable, cost-effecient, and be able to provide water to all of the people in the area.
Design
The next step was to start designing, I made many drafts and revisions, and eventually came up with the design shown above.
Reflect
The last step was to make a presentation about what this machine is going to do for all of the less fortunate people and how it will impact society.
