Rolled Cake With Hearts Decoration

      Step 1
Gather your materials:
-You will need a boxed cake mix (and the materials listed on the cake mix)
- Cream cheese (4oz)
-1 1/2 cups of cold heavy cream
-1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
-Parchment paper
-baking sheet
- No stick baking spray
- Pastry bag
-Preheat your oven to 350°
Preparing the Cake Mix

Prepare the cake mix as directed on the cake mix box. Separate the mix in 3 batches. Set 1/3 cup on a small mixing bowl and dye the mix in a light pink color. Set 1/3 cup on a separate mixing bowl and color it a darker shade of pink. The remaining mix should be left white.
Preparing the Baking Sheet

Cut a piece of Parchment paper so that it completely covers the bottom of the baking sheet. Adding no-stick baking spay will help the paper stay in place.
Adding Design to Your Cake

Pour the colored cake mix into a pastry bag. Create hearts with the darker colored cake mix and dots with the lighter colored mix on the Parchment paper and refrigerate the baking sheet for 7-10 minutes.
Preparing the Cake

Remove the baking sheet from the refrigerator and evenly pour the white cake mix carefully on top of the hearts and dots.
Bake Time

Place the baking sheet in the oven once it reacher 350° and bake for 18-20minutes.
Preparing the Frosting

Whisk 4 ounces of cream cheese and 1/2 a cup of heavy cream in one bowl. In a separate bowl combine 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, 1 cup of heavy cream, and 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar until soft peaks form. Slowly add the cream cheese mixture to the mixture containing the confectioner's sugar. You can add a small drop of food coloring for aesthetics.
Rolling the Cake

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately place a thin kitchen towel over the baking sheet and invert onto another pan. Remove the parchment paper and dust confectioners sugar on the cake. Begin rolling the cake using the kitchen towel immediately after removing the cake from the oven. Allow the cake to cool off.
Frosting the Cake

Unroll the cake and frost the side with no design. Roll your cake again.

Final Preparation

When ready, carefully remove all the toothpicks.
Adding More Flavor

Place your fried potatoes on a plate along with the cucumber slices. Salt the potatoes and cucumber. Pour some Tapatio sauce on the potato roses and cucumber. Finally, squeeze some lemon juice.
