Supplies
Recipe for 1-liter jar:
• cucumbers (cut off tips)
• 5 black peppercorns
• 5 allspice berries
• 3 garlic cloves
• 2 black currant leaves
• 1/5 horseradish leaf
• 1 dill flower head
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp salt
• boiling water
• vinegar (for blanching only)
Dip cucumbers into hot vinegar
until they darken, then remove.
In a sterilized jar, place spices and herbs
then stack cucumbers
Add sugar and salt, pour in boiling water, seal tightly.
Flip the jar and let cool naturally. Store in a cool, dark place.
