Wedding Favour Boxes
I was given some fabric covered card and I thought I could make little boxes out of it, to hold sugared almonds or other sweets or cakes, as wedding favours.
This is the low-tech version which anyone can make! If you had access to a laser cutter you could make a high tech version along the same lines.

Cut Out the Net for the Box
Decide on the dimensions of the box you want and draw the net on your card. I made a box 7 cm by 4 cm by 4 cm.
Cut out the net using a craft knife and a ruler. Score the fold lines.

Assemble the Box
Fold the flaps in and glue the sides together, using paper clips to hold in place.
The Finished Box
Fill your boxes with sugared almonds or whatever you choose. Tie ribbon round the box to hold the lid closed.
You could use the same idea to make boxes for individual cupcakes.
