Wire Pendant
Here is a tutorial for a simple yet pretty wire pendant. Can be used for earrings or necklaces.
Supplies
Wire,(I’m using 0.8mm wire)
Bead
Pliers
Something round (I’m using a ring sizer)
Cut Wire
Cut a long length of wire, estimating is fine. I sort of guessed at the length, for this piece I think it was like 20-30cm.
Create Circle
I used a ring sizer to do this, twist around until there is one loop, or two if you want it to be sturdier, then until the two lengths left over are parallel.
Twist
Bring the two lengths together and twist, leaving a little triangle where they come together.
Make Hook
Twist length over itself and around until you have a sturdy loop that a) won’t fall apart, and b) looks good. I recommend you kind of tie a knot with the wire.
Bead (technically Optional)
Find a bead you like and attach it to a shorter length of wire than the original. Twist the wire until the bead is contained, you can make it look as fancy as you like, but make sure there is extra wire on both sides.
Twist Part Two (technically Optional)
Twist the lengths of wire around the original pendant frame, and secure when they end.
