How to Use the Mini Rainbow Loom

The mini Rainbow Loom is a fantastic and portable way to make single Rainbow Loom bracelets. :D

It's super easy to learn, but took me a few minutes to get it down so I thought I would share a tutorial for it!

What You'll Need:

If you buy the rainbow loom kit above, you will get the hook shown, some c-clips and some bands - won't need to buy anything else! :D

Start Your Bracelet

The start of this one takes one band that matches the colors you have in mind for your bracelet. Hold the mini loom so the hooks are facing up and loop the bands around the two loops on one side, then bring it around the other side and loop it over the original hooks again.

This will form an X shape.

Attach a clip to one side of the band.

Use the Hook to Add Bands

You'll be working on the side without the clip. Hold the mini loom with that side facing up.

Slip the hook under the first band and put a band on the end. Pull the hook + band under the first band on the loom. Place both sides of the second band on the hook so it forms a U shape.

Now you'll repeat the process over and over - adding a new band by pulling it through the loops of the old one with the hook.

See the next step for more detailed photos!

Working Efficiently With the Mini Loom

I've included this to show you guys the easiest way to do it.

Pull the bands through with the hook facing down so you don't snag the previous band, and always keep the hook facing up when inbetween adding bands - this will keep the U shape on the hook while you hunt for your next band. :)

Keep on Going Until You're Done!

It took me about five minutes to make a single bracelet that fit my wrist. :)

Once it's long enough, clip both ends of the looped last band to the C clip you attached at the beginning and pull it off the mini loom.
